4C*R: The Texturalists Framework

At the heart of my workshops and sessions sits a framework I’ve developed over years of working with teams: 4C*R.

Think of it as areas or fields that you move through differently depending on where you are, what you need, and what the team is ready for.

The four Cs, Centre, Challenge, Create, Commit, are the doing.
*Reflect is the pause, the honest look, the mechanism that tells you when to go back, go deeper, or move on. Each field informs the others.

Centre

creates the conditions. People are seen and heard before the work begins. Without it, challenge becomes attack, and create becomes a must-do exercise.

Challenge

is about honest feedback and clear views. Questioning the status quo and asking why this way and not another. The things that need saying, said.

Create

builds directly from what Challenge revealed. Something entirely new, or a deliberate refinement of what is already there.

Commit

is the moment of real choosing. Yes to this means No to something else. Shared responsibility, clear accountability, and an explicit vote: I am in, or I am not.

I guide teams through these fields. Sometimes we spend an entire session in one field. Sometimes we move across all four. What I bring is the expertise to know the difference, and to hold the space for the conversations that actually need to happen.

The result is teams and leaders who can navigate whatever they face, together.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
